really liked it

My own personal addition to The Book of Awesome: Always finding a reason to go into a building that has a revolving door. It always feels like I'm entering a more important world going through one of them - almost like I'm in a movie, and it just makes life seem a little more fun. Too bad LA doesn't utilize them more....

This book is all about appreciation, and about us recognizing just how important the little day to day happenings are to the creation of our overall happiness. Awesome things happen to us everyday, and most of the time we are just so consumed with the bigger picture that we fail to register how they make us feel. So, the next time you get two things from a vending machine when you only paid for one, or the first day you wear a new pair of socks, or the first few moments when you lay your head on the cool, unused side of a pillow -- stop and remind yourself just how awesome that feeling is. :)
