This was unbelievable!!! I like this even better than the Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl. I am completely floored at how Barry Lyga has come up with a sort-of sequel that is as equally amazing as the first, and has written it in such a convincing voice and perspective of a complicated teenage girl. And the plot and everything else were just perrrfect. I've long wondered and ~theorized about what was wrong with Kyra, what was her story, and what Lyga offered was just way off the charts. Her life after being a DCHH, her transformations, her mom's death, her friends, her being in love with Fanboy, her dad's helplessness - there was nothing that was over done about all these factors. Just a note, though: I think Lyga would want to have another edition with a different cover published because this cover somehow screams "I'm from the ~VAMPIRE GENRE~ lol" and sometimes readers get turned off by that because of you-know-what.
