Cute quick read. Samantha (Sam) Sweet cleans foreclosed houses for the government and readies them for resale while making cakes and desserts out of her home while saving for her own bakery. Sam comes across a strange old women still in one of her assigned houses who gives her a strange box that may have some magical powers. If that wasn't odd enough, at the next house she finds a body buried in the yard. A somewhat basic mystery with paranormal elements and some delectable cake and pastry descriptions thrown in. Light and fun diversion, I would read another in the series.
