it was amazing
bookshelves: manga

I didn't like the Tomie stories contained in this and the next volume as much as I did Ito's stand-alone stuff in the third volume, but that may say as much about my particular tastes for stand-alone stuff over other stuff more than a knock against the Tomie stories. These tales are still flat amazing, and the Tomie "mythology" is adequately intriguing and (thankfully) never over explained, and there are moments (especially a sequence in one of the stories, I think it was called "Mansion," involving an animated suit of armor and something else) that are among the best moments I've ever seen.
