I wanted to read one of my books from my book Challenge this month so Natasha & I picked Deadtown. It starts off with introducing Victory and exactly what she does best, demon slaying. In this world, demons usually "attack" people in dreams. Some, Hellions, attack in the real word. Victory is likable and sassy. She is a shapeshifter, classified demi-human. In Boston, creatures all have to live in an area called Deadtown. Victory has a lot on her plate, fighting evil, trying to date a workaholic werewolf, teach a young zombie the ropes, be a good aunt, & not become a lab rat. Some parts were boring IMO but overall I liked it. Will keep reading this series.

Liked: Cool plot
Disliked: Dragged in parts
Favorite Character: Victory
Least Favorite Character: Baldwin
