i've never seen more than 20 minutes of a woody allen movie and defintely never read any of his fiction (i honestly didn't know he wrote fiction, but i guess before this book, it was a few decades since he has, so i don't feel too out of the loop).

this being my first exposure to the world of woody, i have to say, it was pretty good. my favorite part was the character names. so fitting, so silly, so ironic in every way. it was more or less nonsense short stories, with some satire on hollywood, quantum physics, love, life...the world of woody is a strange place.

favorites out of the short stories:

to err is human-to float, divine
calisthenics, poison ivy, final cut
how deadly your taste buds, my sweet
the rejection
attention geniuses: cash only
strung out
surprise rocks disney trial
