It is about a mermaid who falls inlove with a man, name Philoctetes. They spent almost a decade together when a ship came to get Philoctetes for the war to win. Sirena makes a difficult decision to either let him stay or let him go. He says that he will return to her, because she is his true love. He gives her one of the arrows that he values, to prove his honor and love for her.

I like this book, because it has greek mythology to it. It has the gods and their stories. You learn more about it as you read the book. It also talks about loyalty to one another, trust and love. It is a beautiful book that anyone can enjoy to read.
