did not like it

** spoiler alert ** **spoilers**

This book is ridiculous. Tucker is a detective who gets called to a kiosk near a library where the owner of the kiosk has got roughed up by a gang of teenagers. There, Tucker meets Bailey a beautiful woman who he is instantly attracted to. He takes her out for coffee, but she refuses to go out to dinner with him. She also won't tell him anything about her.

The next day, a cat has been found dead, hanging in the children's section of the library. The only clue is a feather near the scene. Tucker gets called in to investigate. When he is done, washing up in the men's room, Bailey comes in and seduces him. And decides she wants to have dinner with him that night.

Wild hot sex at dinner. The next morning there is a feather on his pillow. CLUE!

The next day, the kiosk dude is on the roof of the library with tons of bird cages. He says he will jump off the roof if the city takes his birds. The city takes his birds. He jumps.

Bailey is no where to be found. CLUE!

Tucker finds Bailey. She confesses in an ally to being turned into a bird. She has a feathered back! Kiosk dude changed her and the other birds in cages into birds against their will. Now Tucker and Bailey must race to the humane shelter to free the bird people trapped in cages!

While there, Bailey kills a guard. Bummer! She runs (or flies)away and Tucker gets charged with the murder. Losing his job and going to prison.

BUT WAIT! Bailey sends him a present - a necklace that turns him into a bird. So now he must wait for his wings to sprout then he can fly away from the prison yard and find his mate. (WHAT?)

Not good. Not good at all.

Robyn That sounds just so... random and horribly put together.

Mandi Schreiner Made NO sense. None. Plus SUPER short. Which made it worse. I think.

Lizzielvr Does their HEA end up in a nest? LOL!

Mandi Schreiner Snort - since he flies out of the prison yard, "climbing, soaring to meet my mate - bailey" Yeah - I say they were headed for the trees. *shakes head*

Tamara That is messed up. She lets him take the fall and he still wants to be with her? Is he stupid?
