I only have myself to blame really. I don't know why I keep picking up these nooks when I haven't really enjoyed them since around number six. I really think it's time to put the character to rest. I have serious issues with Stephanie's relationship with Morelli and Ranger; specifically I find it difficult to warm to character who cheats on her partner, emotionally as much as physically, without issue. I understand her relationship with Morelli is 'open' but from the writing it appears her is committed and Stephanie is unsure. Stephanie is hardly the likable character she was. Oh and the Crime? The only shocking thing from the book was to see number eighteen will be published in less than six months.
