Were it possible, I'd probably rate this 3 1/2 stars. Odd Thomas has the ability to see the spirits of the dead who've failed to move on. In cases where the spirit was murdered, he helps point the local sheriff in the right direction. He senses a tragedy on the horizon and must race to discover where it will ultimately occur and who is behind it. Odd is a quirky and intriguing character, but the clues leading him to the villain and the final showdown seemed a bit silly. I wasn't wild about David Aaron Baker's narration, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Find it @ the Orion Library
