I wish I didn't like the vampire aspect of this series as much as I did. The main character is the definition of TSTL (while other characters go around calling her smart and praising her for being clever and spunky). There are excessive descriptions of what people are wearing, and Coke is namedropped with excessive frequency to the point I feel like I'm being advertised to. And yet I just like the idea of a college town secretly run by vampires, and feuding vampires with different ideas on how to save their race. It'd be a better story without Claire and her friends.
