Overall it was a good quick read. The premise of the book is Theo's best friend April has been abducted and everyone is in a mad rush to find her. I had two major problems with this book, one Theo at first didnt seem very affected by the loss of his BEST FRIEND! Grisham started to bring out more emotion as the book went on but pretty much the whole Boone family didnt seem as distraught as I would have thought. Second, WHAT ABOUT THE DUFFY RETRIAL?? Book 1 was a huge cliffhanger and I was really excited to see it conclude. I dont know who's choice it was to leave that cliffhanger for another book but it was a horrible mistake. The case isnt even mentioned until the last pages as an obvious teaser for the next book. I still really like Theo, and as I stated as the book goes on the personality of Theo that I loved in Bk 1 came back out and made for an interesting and entertaining story.
