Meet Gratuity Tucci. She's eleven and she's looking for her mother during an alien invasion. Although a bit confusing at first (it is written as a report by Gratuity for a time capsule), the polarioud photos, comics, and style grow on you as do the characters. It is a true testament to friendship in the most unlikely places. This is a great comedic sci fi novel full of flying cars, smelly gorogs, koobish, and Boovs who eat toilet cakes. Great for grades 5 and up.
