This book is a quick read. If you're interested or involved in micro-finance, definitely read this book to see how and why it all started. Yunus is a man of remarkable talent and character. In this book he discusses the conditions that spurred him to invent micro-lending, and he also touches upon other major events in his life, notably Bangladesh's thrust to independence and role in it from the US.
