Fantastic. Everything I like in a book; good story, great characters, fantastic use of language. Loved it.

It was hard to classify using my bookshelves though. It has heart wrenching moments both romantically and humanly, it focuses on a young group of characters and the dialog reflects this so it's sort of young adult, but it's written in a very classic style, it does not dumb down the story for the reader by use of secondary language. So it's on the fence of being a "classic". Give it time to marinate and it might get there.
