I've always been a fan of the 'In Death' series. This one opens with Eve having in interdepartmental beef with a beat cop and a serial killer taking organs from the destitute.
We see a more vulnerable side of Eve as the case unravels and I really enjoyed that. The only time I had a hard part with was that this one took a while to get to the title. It also wasn't as action-packed and fast-paced as some of the pervious installments. I liked it but I like some of the others better.
