I absolutely love this latest installment in the Sigma Force series! Only Rollins can take something as complex as nanotechnology, and link it to America's founding fathers, Native Americans, and the Mormon religion.
The Devil Colony is the PERFECT blend of science, history, and geography. If you love a good conspiracy theory, suspense, and non-stop action, you must read this book! And you know it's a good book when at the end of it, you are questioning what you THOUGHT you knew about American history.
I felt this was one of Rollins' more technical novels. At times, I found myself flipping back and forth, on the verge of getting lost in all the technical jargon. But overall, it makes for very compelling arguments. And once you start reading, it is incredibly hard to put this book down.
As usual, his characters from the previous books are back, and as loveable as ever. I can't wait for the next book...I only hope it doesn't take another 2 years!
Some believe his writing style to be very similar to those authors that share his genre (Dan Brown, Steve Berry, Clive Cussler, just to name a few). And while I have enjoyed the works of these other authors, I still believe James Rollins does it best.
