Read in July, 2011

Individually, all but 2 of these stories were excellent with a strong sense of sadness and loss, if a little bit of twee. Taken as a whole, it was like eating an entire bag of circus peanuts (which I've done so I know) just too much sweetness and froth.

Matthew Interesting. I've read his novels but not his shorter stuff. Do you think you'd like it more if you read the stories individually over time instead of all at once?
