Remember Me?
by Sophie Kinsella
by Sophie Kinsella
I really enjoyed this book, as I do most all of Sophie Kinsella's work. I read most of her Shopaholic Series, and I was excited to see that she had written something a little different.
The book opens on the main character, Lexi out with her friends. She slips and falls, and when she awakes she finds out that it's three years later, and she had been in a car accident. She has amnesia and couldn't remember anything from the past three years. But her old friends are gone, she looks different - and shes MARRIED! As she tries to recapture the past years of her life, and figure out how she got where she is now. And then there is the little case of the mysterious man who shows up and says, "Don't you remember me?"
Sophie Kinsella does such a good job putting the reader in the shoes of the antagonist that at times you almost forget that its not happening to you! As you read you can't help but wonder about how you would feel if you woke up and everything was different. So many people wish that one day you would wake up and everything would be different. But would it be better?
A quick read, sure to make anyone smile.
