Demon Seed
by Dean Koontz

I liked this book, mainly I think because I'm a technophile. I found the updated version very interesting in terms of its storyline and the possibility of the plot.
As always, Koontz brings you in with the action and the mystery, and doesn't let you go. It's a thrilling psychological mind-bender that left me more than a little concerned about how much I rely on technology on a daily basis.
Although not as strong as some of his other work - Watchers, Strangers and Lightning (which I would love to see made into a movie) come to mind - Demon Seed was well-crafted and a good read.
