There is a cliffhanger ending so be prepared. i'm very very glad I've got the other one already coming in from the library because I'm excited to finish up this series.

These books may be written for children, but I personally think they are sad enough and good enough and exciting enough and surprising enough to be any age reads. You can totally tell it's Collins writing because her style just shines through. Out of all the books of the series this one reminded me most of the Hunger Games- in style not so much story line.

Collins has a great anti-violence theme gong on which I love, as it is a violent book and what not. Gregor is a lovely character whom I love.

The only things I don't like about these books are the covers. I'm embarrassed to be seen reading them in public. But it doesn't matter because the story is so good and I can read them in about a day.

To my last breath,I hold this choice,
I will your unjust deaths avenge,
All here who died without a voice.”

They look childish and sort of weird and feel stupid/embarrassed when I read this in public. But they are good enough it doesn't matter."
