In the 2nd Royal Spyness mystery, the Queen has asked Georgie to take care of a visiting royal princess from Bavaria since Georgie is also young and Princess Hannalore will surely have a better time with the smart set and perhaps the Princess will catch the Prince's eye and he can forget about Mrs. Wallis. Unfortunately, convent-raised Hanni, talks like a gangster, drinks like a fish, and is boy-mad. To make matters worse, corpses keep appearing whenever Hanni is around. That has to be coincidence but the dead are quickly piling up. This book had some high notes but it was very slow in the middle. The build-up to the surprise denouement took forever so that by the time it came, I didn't care as much as I wanted to. I own one more of the series. Although I like Georgie, the character, a lot, unless the next book improves dramatically, I won't continue with the series despite the cool premise and the popularity of Downton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs.
