Read from June 30 to July 04, 2011

Rosenberg spins a tale that appears to have a lot of truth behind it. This book is about the world in which we live where countries with nuclear capabilities are run by mad men. In this case it is Iraq which is run by Sadam Hussian. He wants to destroy Israel, the US and there allies. The book starts off with an assassination attempt made on the President while at the same time attacks are made on world leaders in Canada, England, Saudia Arabia and other nations. We get a glimpse into the inner workings of the Executive Office of the United States in how it responds to terrorism. Rosenberg's description of the CIA, FBI, Secret Service and the Cabinet's reactions to the terrorist event appear to be right on.

I also enjoy Rosenberg weaving faith and God into his story. The story about the lady who wanted to be buried with a fork in her hand was great. She wanted everyone to see the fork in her hand and to ask "Why does she have that fork in her hand?" Then the minister can tell them in her eulogy that it is like a meal in which the hostess tells them to "Keep their fork because the best is yet to come". She is keeping her fork because the best is yet to come.

Rosenberg also leaves us with a cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
