really liked it

I like this one better than the first entry into the series. I am not a mystery fan generally, but historical fiction mysteries are often fun reads. Telling the story from the perspective of a WWI chaplain adds interest to the character himself as well as tho the tone of the book, though Joseph is irritatingly moral/upright/British a lot of the time.

The ongoing mystery-man aspect of the series is actually its weakest point, in my opinion.
