Beautiful and honest. But I seriously wanted to yell at her at times - seriously, Patti, look at the signs - he's gay! No, don't sleep with him when he's incredibly, incredibly ill! I enjoyed the book, but it didn't blow me away like I think I expected it to. Does haunt you, though.

I was really frustrated reading the digital edition of this that there wasn't more additional content. With all the visuals discussed throughout the book, both photography, painting, and drawing, as well as film short content, this book was screaming out for an enhanced edition. And then I read at the end that some images weren't even available for the electronic edition, which felt like I got gypped.

Oh, and she had a relationship with Sam Shepard. Isn't that nice?
