did not like it
bookshelves: fiction, horror, dystopian-sf, abandoned, worst-ever-books

This was one of the worst apocalypse books that I've tried to read. The cast of characters are all selfish, obnoxious, spiteful and without redeeming features. It is more about who hates who and who is top dog and making the decisions, rather than focusing on what sounded like a decent plot. The characters are just a bunch of names that you've forgotten five pages later. They are under developed and not very interesting.

The plot-the final survivors are living up a mountain and running short of supplies. Should they risk a long walk to the top of the next mountain to see if there is anything better there. And that was it. Pretty boring and not much worth reading.
