it was amazing

Classic through and through. As every 9-year old child knows, the most tantalising of all dreams is to find themselves washed up on a desert island, battling pirates and survival. Mr Ballantyne perfectly captured this dream. Although in the flowery, and sometimes unavoidably dated, words of a 19th century author, Ballantyne manages to perfectly convey the feelings of three young boys washed ashore, and manage to still capture the hearts and minds of young readers decades and decades later. Absolute and timeless classic, one that will constantly paste a smile onto your lips, no matter how old you are.
