This book gives an honest and often heartwrenching look at loss and grief. It also gives hope, as the author is able to emerse himself in the grief/healing process and find a new begining. I found the book touching and interesting in places; and for me it was about 200 pages too long, as I often found myself skimming, wanting the story to move along. Like grief it was at times repetitive and never ending.
