You CANNOT just skip over main story plot points in the interest of space, authors I have found out are not two women! This is the second book you have done this in. I don't want two lines hinting at an epic, life changing, character building, game changer battle and that's all now on with the rest of the story. Who does that? Just stop it already. I will never get over this. Couple that with cliched characters and you have a 2.5 star story. But I was excited reading up to the (somewhat unsatisfactory) end, and this series did have a lot of potential. So, no, it wasn't a waste of my time, but, no, I won't be reading any more Dragonlances.
