Robert Saw the movie, of course, but never read this one. Did you read "A Prayer for Owen Meany?" It was a strange but really interesting story. He's an interesting writer. There'sa lot of Catholicism or at least Christian thought in his work from what I've read. It was certainly there in "Owen Meany." Have you read anything else by Irving? His craft as a writer seems impeccable to me.

Harold Just Garp and it was a long time ago. Little by little as I'm reminded of books I've read I've been adding them to my list. Never read "Owen Meany."

Robert There are several of Irving's books I'd like to read. His characters seem like real people to me.

Cait Harold, Owen Meany and The Cider House Rules are incredible! I highly recommend them. I loved Last Night in Twisted River too.

Harold Thanks Cait and Bob - Good enough! I'm adding them to my to read list.
