So the wonderful journey through the world of Alagaesia has finally come to an end! And what an end it has been. I haven’t felt this satisfied with an ending since reading, (I am aware some people are going to cringe here, but whatever) twilight. Paolini has answered all my questions at least and I truly enjoyed this last book. Although a number of things with the end did not sit well with me, but after finishing the book I didn’t feel betrayed by the author. I didn’t feel like cursing him and saying what happened to him and what happened here and why did that happened. He sort of gave an answer to everything that I had so far wondered. :) As I said before, the only other series to give me this sort of satisfaction was the twilight saga, and let’s face it that series had a way simpler plot than the inheritance cycle.
I have to say one more thing here: a lot of people may feel intimidated by the sheer size of the book, however, I must say once you start reading it, you can’t put it down. Moreover, when I finished it, I actually wished there were a few more chapters there for me to enjoy! :)
I wish Mr. Paolini would start another series for his fans to enjoy as I definitely love his style and his work up till now! :)
