it was amazing

Like the magazine Mark Harris writes for (EW), this book is both educational and fun, gossipy and factual, "Pictures at a Revolution" tracks the Best Picture candidates from 1967: From "Doctor Dolittle" and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" to "In the Heat of the Night", "The Graduate", and "Bonnie & Clyde". Harris tracks each picture from its initial conception and pitch through re-writes, casting and re-casting, filming, and how it was received by the country at the time. Whether you're a cinephile or just someone like me who enjoys movies, this is a great read.
