This is the second bio of Jack Parsons I've read, and by far the better, more thorough book. The details of the rocketry are so thorough I was bored. But the L.Ron Hubbard stuff is amazing ... Unbelievable. If you have any interest in the beginnings of scientology you need to know this.

S Suzanne I got it for Xmas after talking to you...amazing - loved it.

Remy The book about Marjorie Cameron - Wormwood Star by Spencer Kansa - is a very good companion to this, and very interesting. It's a small press, so you'd probably have to get it online, but it would be well worth it if you could. I think you'd like it.

S Suzanne That is definitely my next planned read! Wow - loved this book. I think Maya Deren crossed Parsons' path - need to look it up.

I am pretty curious about Marjorie C, Betty and Helen! Would love to know more about each.

We should talk sometime soon!
