I won't state the obvious: Eragon is not the most well-written young adult book out there. Christopher Paolini published this book at such a young age (and I commend him greatly because of it) and it's clear he had a lot of kinks to work out of his writing. But I love this book. The story is so epic, the characters so interesting, and the storyling so engaging that I am willing to overlook some of the writing errors in this book. Because for me, the story is the most important thing. If I love the book, I'm going to praise it to the moon. And I do! I think Christopher Paolini is an inspiration to all of us writers out there, espescially the young ones. He could do it, and so can we! I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with the idea of the Dragon RIders and what they represent. I love Saphira! No matter how many times I read this book I am always completely satisfied! So, if you can overlook the editing/writing flaws in this book I say go for it! Get lost in the world of Eragon and the Dragon Riders! I did, and I don't regret it for a moment! If you love adventure stories, dragons, or both I really recommend this book and series! :)
