Sometimes, there's an author that I save up a couple of books so that I can read them in a row just to devote some time to that writing style. I did that with Ms. Sands the othre day and though it was hard to put off reading this book til I had another of her's I hadn't read it was well worth it. I'm also rather glad I allowed myself the time between this book and the previous one in the series because a lot of this book recovers the same events we've already read but from a different perspective. She did a really good job of it though so it didn't feel like a reread and portrayed the previous events in a much more condensed way than she had before without making you feel you were missing part of the story. I also enjoyed that it continued on after the previous book had ended. I can't wait to read Lisa's story next.
I highly recommend this book.
