In this book, Liz shares her life story from homelessness to Harvard, and the struggles and joys along the way.
HEARTWRENCHING. I've never had to take a break from reading, but had to take several while reading this book. The st ruggles that Liz faced growing up were heartbreaking. I kept thinking that no child should have to experience what she did. However she survived through the determination to take control of her own life and not let others dictate how her life would be. Also her support network of true friends was amazing.
