I'm a fan of Mary Higgins Clark books. I love her story lines and the fact that she doesn't use vulgar language and crude sexual references. But this book frustrated me. A lot. The protagonist was a pushover. She tolerated way too much of her husband's psycho behavior. I would get frustrated to the point where I would close the book, throw it down and have to get up and do something else. But I always came back to it because I was so curious to see how it ended. (And also because I have this thing with finishing what I start). Anyway, don't judge all of Mary Higgins Clark's books by this one.
