This book was a great introduction to moral and legal reasoning. Sandel brings plenty of real-life examples of ethical dilemmas that have social importance. He then discusses different ways of reasoning about them. On the way, he covers quite a bit of theory on the part of ethical philosophers (Kant features prominently) and some of it gets a bit hairy, but he always brings the discussion back to real-world examples. Now I'm itching to watch his video course online. It's times like this when I wonder why I didn't study law...
