Lori Yes! I love these books. Dreamed about them, read the series twice.

Milo Yes and they are great books indeed. I'm actually reading the Kristin Lavransdatter Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset version but to keep up with my goodreads challenge I'm adding the individual versions.

Lori I did that too - so I could rate each individually. Are you reading The Cross?

Another male GR friend recently read it and also gave 5 stars - I had been curious if this was more a "female" book, (since the first is in some ways a bodice ripper!) but I'm glad to see it's not.

Milo Yea, I'm reading The Cross as well. The Kristin Lavransdatter books are from a female perspective but I don't think that means it's strictly a female oriented book; it's simply a female telling the story. Sometimes we males need to get some perspective on the way you woman work.
