If you're looking for a detailed biography on William Wilberforce, this is not it. But if you're curious as to how Wilberforce faithfully lived his life despite political turmoil, personal illnesses and losses, and other difficulties.. this is it. Instead of describing his life and then applying the "Amazing Grace" in his life, the author, Piper, looks at key principles of the idea of GRACE and explains how it is exemplified in Wilberforce's life. It's a quick read, only 70 or so pages. It's saturated with personal quotes and great insight. Personally, I'd like to read the full biography first before reading this. But if you want to see a man who lived truly by grace alone, then read this.
