I finally finished this book. I almost put it down about 1/2 way through, but the action picked up and I decided to see it through. It was a very interesting story and premise, I'm just not a huge fan of Philip K. Dick's writing style. I don't think I could describe why, because the stories are interesting enough. Maybe there is a dry-ness to the characters, or something with which I just can't connect. I read "The Man in the High Castle" previously and felt the same way, so I guess this is my last of his books. It's a shame that he passed away just before the release of the movie "Blade Runner". I hope he would have liked how it turned out. It really did become a classic, as is this book.
