If you are a Fairstein fan, you will probably like this book...it feels very familiar in terms of plot devices, characters, etc. Again, not being a history buff, I skipped some of the history in it, but on the whole, it was a very enjoyable read. I do think that if Alex were a real person, she should have learned by now not to put herself in dangerous positions, so I found myself somewhat annoyed by her lack of learning from past mistakes. However, I'm glad she has a nice boyfriend now :)
