This was an engaging read and I got scoffed a lot at when I mentioned what it was about. Who knew a book about the compilation of the Oxford Dictionary would be so fascinating? My only complaint is that I needed my own copy of the Oxford Dictionary to read alongside. The author used a lot of pretentious words that made it slow going to figure out what he was saying...

I hope it wasn't just me who didn't know all the words...

But other than that, I loved this book.
