This first book in Reasor's new series is well-written, entertaining, and she does an excellent job portraying the personal lives behind the Navy SEAL's stressful military work. This SEAL story stands out because the heroine, Zoe, isn't physically "perfect." Reasor builds Zoe's character arc with gentle persistence until she blossoms into a match, and surpasses the fortitude of any Navy SEAL. Zoe's hero, Hawk, has his own personal growth to account for, and does a fine job of matching Zoe's strength. Twists and turns in the plot keep the reader engrossed and turning pages.
An excellent read all around. I'll be keeping tabs on when the next book in this series is released and snap it up.
