Meh. Grand total of sympathetic characters: a few baby griffins, and the protag's dad. Couldn't manage to give a damn otherwise. Dialogue was pretty bad. Overall it was predictable, frustrating, and rarr. Any points I'd award for dealing with racism and inverting the Chosen One thing are lost for the sin of being predictable. Bah meh hmph etc. Will not be getting the others :c

58.0% "Meh. Gets points for trying to deal with racism, loses them for being utterly predictable. Gets points for inverting the 'shining chosen one' trope, loses them for lacking sympathetic characters about whom one can give a shit. And the dialogue is often awful. Persevering out of stubbornness."
