the face is yet another of my favorite koontz' books, filled with mystery built upon mystery, laced with some supernatural spookiness that leaves you guessing right up until the very end, and has one of the viliest of vile villians to come down the pike since I can't remember when. with a wonderful and quirky young man, and his flawed ex cop bodyguard in the center of the mix, dean koontz uses his usual masterful writing and humor to take us on a wild ride.absolute thumbs up to this one.
