This book is called'Hangman's Curse' by Frank.E.Peretti

I read this book, because it drew its attention to me by its book cover, and its blurb which such sent a shock through my spine.

This fits into my bingo board under the category:'A book written by a male'.

This book is one, I haven't come across in my whole lifetime of reading books.
This is a bit of the book:
This book is based on the idea of Veritas (The truth in Italian)
It is about mysterious events happening at Baker's High, then a Christian family group called the Veritas Project of the Springfield Family , are secretly a family who works on supernatural cases and tries to find the real Veritas (Truth) behind these occurrences. The myth of a person called Abel Frye who committed suicide in the basement of the school. Rumours of Abel's ghost fills in the ears of the student and the hallucinations seen by some students or supposedly picked on to see.
The Springfield Family go undercover as students and teachers, discover hangmen drawn on the specific student lockers who had the hallucinations. This turns from a tale of Spirits, ghost, and supernatural beings to peer pressure, bullying and other school issues.

Especially of the horror genre, i found this book an eerie gold charm, specially recommended to those who like a full thrilling read to satisfy and feel scared and spooked even after reading this book.

5/5 from me
My favorite book of all time!!!
