Allison Do you think you'll read the series all in a row now? I LOVE getting into series, but have trouble keeping up with a series while also reading a separate book on the side. Something I need to practice doing, because it keeps me from jumping into series that I am dying to read. Such as Song of Ice and Fire, Christie's Miss Marple series, and ESPECIALLY Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Can you believe that I own every book (1,000+ pages each!) in that series, and have yet to start it because I am afraid that it'll keep me away from other books for too long?! Silly!

Misha Yes, I am planning to read all the 5 books in a row - you see I HAVE to know what happens. I wonder what I'll do once I get through the fifth book. Apparently the author takes years to release a book. It will be a torture waiting for the sixth.

I used to love Christie's Miss Marple series. But my personal favorite was Poirot :)

I still haven't tried Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, but I want to. And wow! Are they really 1000+ pages each?!!

Allison Oh yeah, it's so crazy!

That's the latest one, Mass Market Paperback is the edition I own and it's 1,184 pages!! So crazy. Happy to hear that you enjoyed Miss Marple!. Definitely heard great things about Poirot but that I'd target a female detective to read about :)

Misha 1184 pages! It may sound strange, but I love thick books. However, they take so much time to read.

Allison I love them too! It's like watching a long, well-done TV series. You get totally connected to the characters and their lives. Nothing beats it. But it's just seriously time-consuming.
