German Jews/Concentration Camp survivor

No illustrations, but photographs from her life were included, placed in sync with her descriptions of pictures she kept with her throughout her entire struggle

Personal Response:

It was a very good book. Hard to put down. I always get very disturbed, reading or watching anything to do with WWII. This book was the same. Realistic, and just graphic enough to depict the true story, while at the same time, not going into gory and unnecessary details.

Curricular or programming connections:

Definitely can show the plight of the Jews incarcerated in work and concentration camps, the living status in ghettos during WWII.
