it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy
Read from June 22 to 29, 2011

Reading this book, I almost wanted to lessen the rating I gave to the first in the trilogy because this one was just sooo good right from the beginning. I was engrossed immediately. I love the world and the continued development of the characters. The tenuous pact between Gerald Tarrant and Damien Vyrce keeps me engrossed. Towards the last quarter of the book I found I was struggling to keep reading. However, I don't think it has anything to do with the book itself and more to do with my own schedule. But, maybe others have felt the same? Regardless, I am eager to find out how the world changes as a result of what transpired here and what happens with the Iezu.
